Senior Agile Master
Purpose of the Position
The Senior Agile Master is responsible for supporting the teams in IT Delivery at their request (pull principle) with suitable lean and agile methods in order to ensure effective collaboration and improve the delivery process. It is his task to define and establish the agile working methods together with the other Senior Agile Masters. He supports the teams and the IT product owners in the adaptive implementation of agile working methods and accompanies the teams with regard to their collaboration, dealing with conflicts and other impediments.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
Accompanying/supporting the IT product teams:
Ensuring continuous improvement of the delivery process
Communicating agile values, principles and procedures/methods so that the teams work efficiently, self-organized, autonomously and transparently
Supporting the teams and IT product owners in introducing, establishing and optimizing agile frameworks and practices (e.g. Scrum)
Working with the teams to remove obstacles and get their work done
Arbitration of conflicts at delivery team level
Coaching IT product owners, e.g. in agile product management and product value optimization
Moderation/orchestration of agile events/ceremonies (depending on the maturity of the team)
Cross-team tasks:
Analyzing patterns across several teams, deriving and implementing appropriate measures
Development and maintenance of agile and lean working methods and tools
Continuous exchange with the other Senior Agile Masters in order to coordinate, further develop and orchestrate the introduction of methods
General:
Active collaboration with the IT Product Owners to continuously improve agile collaboration
Continuous learning in the area of agility, expansion of the corresponding detailed knowledge, analysis of new ways of working with regard to Vorwerk IT suitability
Active collaboration in the Chapter of Agile Management
